Do you clip coupons? If you are one of those coupon divas who love to save money by clipping coupons, don't get rid of those coupons that are expired! Did you know that the military and their families are able to use manufacturer coupons for up to 6 months after their expiration dates at their Commissaries if they are stationed abroad? If you have always wanted to support the troops but really didn't know how you could contribute, recycle your expired coupons and donate them to the troops. What a wonderful way to show your support and do a little recycling as well.
If you're interesting in supporting our Troops OverSeas Coupon Program you can visit their website at www.ocpnet.org, click on their base list and adopt a base to send you expired coupons. There is also another wonderful website, "Coups for Troops" that will do it all for you. Just forward your recycled coupons and they do the rest without you having to mail them overseas yourself. Mail them (either clipped or not clipped) to:

They do ask that the coupons not be more than 2 months past their expiration date since it takes some time to reach their overseas destination. So let's get started... don't forget to recycle those expired coupons and help our troops. I can't think of a better way to honor our military this Memorial Day!!
