Green Tip for Holiday Gift Wrapping
Ever wonder what to do with all those unwanted holiday gift wrapping scraps? If you are like me, I always tend to tuck them away hoping that just the right item will come along so that I can use every little scrap of paper without having to throw any away. Or maybe you are the type of person who likes to keep the Christmas paper you received from a gift because "it's just too pretty to throw away"! Sound like you?
A green tip for using those holiday gift wrapping scraps or recycle that used paper you just couldn't part with the year before is by cutting out cute shapes or letters traced from stencils and glue them to any gift wrap package or gift bag to create your very own gift wrap design.
And what about all those Christmas cards you have been collecting through the years. Why not recycle them too by cutting the top part of the card and using it to adorn a gift box or bag. Whether you choose to use your gift wrapping scraps or recycle your old Christmas cards to decorate your own package, I guarantee it will not only make your gift stand out among the rest, but will also be a fun Christmas tradition you can share with your kids.
Happy Holidays and have "green" creative fun!!
